Project Details
Students learned about balance and repetition through this project using their names as the main design element.
After using their names, nick name, or initials to design their project “slice,” students trace their design onto their final paper, flipping the slice each time to create symmetry.
Students then learned how to blend colored pencils and create custom colors using Prismacolor colored pencil. Students were tasked with creating interest in their piece by adding shading and blending their colors.
