Contest Details

With positive recognition as the focus of this program, PTA Reflections allows students to explore creative expression and help in finding their own voice in telling their unique story.

For over 50 years, students have found a creative outlet in the areas of dance choreography, film production, literature, music composition, photography, and visual arts through this program!

At the local level, the following were awarded:

• Participation Award (7)
• Honorable Mention (6)
  • For good interpretation of the theme and neat work.
• Award of Merit (6)
  • For great interpretation of the theme and creativity.
• Award of Excellence (6)
  • For excellent interpretation of the theme, creativity, and great work.
  • Students in this category moved on to compete at the Regional Level!

Six students advanced to regional judging receiving the following awards:

• Honorable Mention (2)
• Award of Merit (1)
• Award of Excellence (1)
• Overall Award of Excellence (2)
  • Students receiving this honor moved on to the State of Texas level of judging!

Both students who advanced to the State of Texas level of judging received Awards of Merit and will be honored at the 2026 Awards Ceremony in Austin, Texas.
