Project Details

Students focused on pattern and repetition in this project by creating two linocut stamps.

After learning about printmaking, students spent time designing their stamps. Students transferred their sketch to their rubber block, then carved their designs.

After they finished carving, students were given a chance to test their stamps and make adjustments. Students then planned their pattern/ design before printing their final works.
