Project Details

Students spent time reflecting on the upcoming year and what they wanted for 2022. Students used a New Year’s Goals planning sheet to create a theme for their artwork. Using guiding questions, students created a 2022 Theme. Students then were taught how to communicate those ideas in their artwork using images, colors, and words.

Students were required to create a mixed-media artwork for this project, using at least two materials. Students also learned about Pop Art during this project and used it to influence their style.
