Project Details

Students learned the basics of printmaking in this project. After learning about the process and key vocabulary, students designed a printing plate in their sketchbooks. Then, students built their plates using various materials (cardboard, string, foam, etc.).

Students tested their prints, then made adjustments to ensure their prints came out well. After finalizing their plates, students created at least three prints of their work to submit.
